Ludogabble is a blog about video games.

My name is Stephanie, and I’m a graduate student in a Communication and Rhetoric PhD program. I use this blog as a space to practice writing. A great deal of my PhD work is on video games, so having an outlet to explore and experiment and scribble down thoughts that don’t necessarily fit into my courses is important to me. I’m interested in video game criticism, so you’ll find a lot of that here.

For the moment, this blog is very much under construction. Someday I’ll have it on its feet–but in the meantime, I’ll just be sort of fumbling around and trying to figure things out.

  1. I’m always happy to see academia taking an interest in games, or gamer taking an interest in academia. I enjoy both philosophy and video games to a sinful degree and understand the desire to enter the realm of academic video game criticism. I would be interested in publishing content to this blog if you would be willing to share the space. If you need proof of my writing credentials, I can send you my essay on video games and existentialism, or one of the other pieces I keep hidden with the hope of publishing. My contact information is in the comment. I would send this in a message, but I have no way of doing so, so forgive the crude attempt to contact.
